As some might already know I a man Atheist. Why you might ask. Well because I believe in science. And I don’t believe that there is an all mighty creature somewhere who would smite me for doing something else then what I want to do.
A question we atheists get asked a lot is
“Why do you HATE god?”
OR
”Why can’t you leave religion alone if you don’t believe in god?”
Well it is because of religious people I have to express myself. It is because of the dogmas, I don’t care that you believe in a fictional being. But my freedom is not something you can stop with these questions.
We all see that religion is a way for people to gain power and instil fear in others. Lets just get some facts here.
- If you pray and god does not answer – it is gods will.
- If god got a plan for everyone – why do you pray.
- If god answers your prayer and gives you what you want – it is gods will.
In essence if you did not pray you would have gotten it as well by this logic?
- God created the birds and the trees – how lovely.
- Did you forget god created cancer – child death – malaria – the plague - …
Religion is a plague that need to be extinguished it is killing people all around the globe in the name of a fictional being that has never shown him or here self. Never gave any proof of anything. Except some lunatics who are either there son or a person who heard voices. We have a name for those people now “Schizophrenia”. Yet people believe in books written 2000 years ago. Blindly following these books without a second thought. If I would tell you I believe in Asterix and Obelix book number 2. You would call me a crazy *****.
I find it understandable that people need to believe in something. And you can all do that, as long as you don’t bother the rest of the world with it. I will not bother you for doing so. But don’t forget the next time you ask me these questions I will answer them as I did just now.
