Religion is needed for salvation. Without knowing God, there would not be any religion. The Bible teaches us to believe in God. If we were not exposed to the knowledge of God there is no way that we can please us. Without knowing God you cannot do His will. It is by doing that which is the will of God that we can please God. Knowing about God and living in the world which God had created are just empty without understanding that God. So, rejecting religion (as some people do is just an act of foolishness. Religion is good because it shows us to God.
Religion points us to God. Without knowing God, salvation will not be our own. We must believe in so that he can save our souls. Religion teaches us the way of. Salvation makes us know God. Every aspect of knowledge acquisition has its benefits. I do not understand why many people kick against religion. Humans have always had the instinct of going against what God wants for them. Let us believe in God. Let us accept religion because it is good.
