The things that we suffer makes us better. Our lives are improved by the things that we are passing through. The situation might not be very palatable, but be cheerful because at the end of the tunnel, there will be light. Light is coming. Even if the present seems dark, light shall shine. That is the light that will reveal our glory. There is no crown without a labour. They do not crown lazy people. It is people who work that are crown. Are you facing some form of tribulations, be courageous. Don't give up. God won't leave you alone.
The Bible says that the Lord Jesus Christ suffer tribulations in order to learn obedience. It is not that He was a disobedient son. It is that He left his position of authority and submitted himself to do his father's will. It was not dignifying for Him as the Son of God to treated the way he was treated by men but he endured it all just to please the Father.
We must learn from this. We must be obedient to God. It is not everything that we receive from God that will be pleasing to our flesh. We must understand that the flesh will always work against the purpose of God. The purpose of God is for us to obey His commandments and do His will. But our flesh will always want us to go against the things of God.
Today, decide in your heart that irrespective of what you will suffer in life, you must obey and honour God. Have a blessed day.
