a small village, there lived an old mother. Her son worked in the city. Every month, he sent her a full bag of groceries - rice, flour, oil, everything.
But whenever the son called his neighbor, the neighbor said, "Your mother always has an empty pot."
One day the son came back to the village angrily. He went to the kitchen and saw the pot was really empty.
He shouted, "Mother, I send you so much ration, why do you stay hungry?"
The mother smiled calmly and said, "Son, I do eat. But next to our house lives a small orphan girl. When I cook, the smell goes to her house. She stands at my window every day and just watches.
So every day, I give half of my food to her. That's why my pot looks empty, but my heart is always full."
The son started crying. He understood that his mother was not poor, she was the richest woman in the village.
The next morning, the son didn't just bring ration for his mother, he brought a new school bag and new clothes for that little girl. From that day, the mother's small house never had an empty pot, because now three people were eating from it with love.
