Grum darf also nicht ständig verfehlen.
Was denkst du über Counterspell?

Today's ruleset is called Counterspell and says that magic damage is thrown back at the attacker (in a weakened form). You can think of it as if your monsters have some kind of aura around them that protects them from damage while weakening the attacker.
Do not play magic! It will only harm you. But seriously. If you can avoid magic when this ruleset is active, then you should. Unless the other rulesets force you to. Then I advise you to use Counterspell not only as a bonus, but proactively. For example by playing Amplify, so you increase the damage thrown back. Another strategy would be to benefit from the Void ability to lower the damage that is cast on you.
2 strategic aspects where I unfortunately absolutely don't know if it works are:
If you have an answer to either or both of these questions, please post them in the comments below. I would be very pleased. Thank you already !
The ruleset Counterspell gives your monsters the ability Reflect Magic. Hmmm where do I know that from? Oh yes ... Owster Rotwell was the only card that could give this ability to all of your monsters. But there are also some monsters with this ability.
*Counterspell is a relatively new ruleset and came with Briar Patch and Fire and Regret. The commonality is that each ruleset reflects some of the damage back. While Counterspell reflects magic damage, Briar Patch refers to melee damage and Fire and Regret refers to ranged damage.
Counterspell and Weak Magic in the ruleset pool. Very nice. Since I wasn't planning on playing magic, this combination suits me fine. With this, green would definitely be out. I was wavering between Fire and Water on this one, not really playing Blue at such low mana pools. Death would lend itself, but relies a bit further on magic. That's why I decided on red.
No compromise. Just brute force and high damage.
Well. Exciting. I'm a little worried about the deeplurker. But thank God he doesn't have Poison. If och can take Noa out quickly, I think I have a chance. So Grum must not miss all the time.
Let's check out the game together: https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_c4fdf8f20c4b710969b0f39b9512b1a2&ref=zephid83
Perfect. Exactly as planned :) Grum Flameblade was as accurate as ever and Uraeus and Tenyii Striker also did their job in an exemplary manner. That's exactly how it should be.
I don't think you need to say much. As long as you don't play magic when the ruleset is active, you should be halfway on the winning side. I'm glad that I was able to get a win and even more glad that my strategy worked out perfectly.
I'm already excited about which ruleset will be the focus next week.
As always, a big Merci for your time and interest. What do you think about Counterspell? Let me know.
Do you remember my 2 questions at the beginning of the post? If you have an answer, I'd be very happy to read it in the comments. Thank you.
