This wasn't intentional, yes I mean this Wednesday Walk article. It's been a while I went for a walk, let alone wrote an article about it.
To me, it was just like every normal Wednesday, or should I say it never occurred to me that today is Wednesday.
I had plans, but certainly not this one.
But you know that sudden change of mind when something comes up? That is exactly what happened today.
It seemed staying at home today would cause more work to be added to my schedule so I decided I was going out to avoid those work, call me lazy if you wish, for all I care I've been singing not being a fan to STRESS
First I dialed a friend's number, my closest friend, to meet at her place, but unfortunately for me, she too had plans of going out to help some group of persons with something which she didn't mention. After the response from my close friend, I had to hit up my two friends in school to meet up with them, yeah I knew they had nothing to do since we are both in the same department and so for now nothing is really happening in school except for a few paperwork.
They all agreed to meet in an eatery and sit out, grab some stuff, and then talk.
Telling you how it all went and what challenges we encountered will be another whole gossip on its own so let's allow that part to slip.
Anyway, how about a tip of the iceberg, one of my friends got a call from her mom to come over to her office and take some stuff back home, so she excused us and went over to her mom's place. While waiting for her, we decided to take a stroll with my other friend to an open field. We transported ourselves down to the place and tour the open space, taking photos of the lovely view and vegetation.
We took snapshots of ourselves as well.
We spend close to an hour or more before my other friend finally called back and asked us to come back and meet her in the eatery that she was done with the errand she was sent on.
We boarded a public transport back to the eatery, I and my friend.
On reaching there, we ordered what we wanted to eat and there we sat down and started talking and all.
I also used the opportunity to remind them about hive since I already introduced it to them but they haven't signed up just yet, though I will soon onboard them.
And after the meal and everything, we bid one another goodbye. One of my friends took a different route while I and the other friend used the same route to our different destination. While trekking to where we would find a taxi home, we met with these local masquerades, I forgot to take a snapshot of those masquerades.
They were decorated with charcoal with palm kernel leaves around their neck and waist. They were about six (6) in numbers, little children were following them, playing and having fun.
While moving on the road, I took a few shots of the stores along the road. They had different displays of goods like household utensils and furniture, and even displays of women and children outfit in the boutique.
I kept capturing them one after the other as I walked past each of those stores and shops until I finally reached the bus stop where I boarded a public transport home.
It was while taking the snapshots of the roadside stores and shops I remembered today was Wednesday and that there was a community for Wednesday walk, so I made up my mind to talk about my day and how I spent it on my walk.
Spending time with friends is always worth it and I don't regret nor take the moment for granted.
And this is my Wednesday walk, not a regular one but just a way to escape some work at home馃き馃槀
Still your baby girl ;)
