Ego

An idle demon mocks us,
with its induced insomnia, it crosses us in the corridor of death
like soulless trains in retaliation on parallel tracks.
The Succubus sows me with real fears
and waters me with its insecurities
penetrating my foundations with roots from hell.
Then, the mowing turns out to be blind,
with no sight other than that provided
by frayed blinkers and unhinged moons.
Treasures are scarce in my nest,
the crow that steals them sheds his feathers,
preening his wings for another flight;
its seductive amber hypnotizes from the holes
of the mask that holds and encourages a faceless monster.
Him, he handles snail alcohol and selective amnesia;
me, it sets me ablaze in crepitant, volatile, and elusive flames,
I will enter your heart and mind, he said,
and then he took possession of the dreams
tinged with the wings of blue butterflies
fluttering in the light of memory of starlit nights
on beaches scratched by tents and campfires.
Good and bad words burn in her mouth,
some, tricksters, wrapped in the honey of ectoplasm
capable of collapsing neurons,
others, stormy, entwined with ribbons of fog
that the wind unleashes and falls to the ground like thick drops
that poison and pierce the calm.
Intoxicated from the ground to the sky,
with soul and feet imprisoned in ice,
I lose myself in its underworld of woods and slime
with what seems like a Stockholm syndrome.
I unravel a ball of hallucinatory threads
that gives life to black butterflies fluttering in the night
like nocturnal ghosts looking for an ear
to terrify it with psychophonies of scares and cries,
nightmares of knocks on the door,
bare feet on broken glass and red cloaks
that envelop the mind in different fears.
I, Little Wolf Riding Hood with sharp teeth.
He, armed hunter, a conscious Judas.
I call him thunder, he calls me poison.
Heart and bones burning in a war of egos.

Ego

se acicala las alas para otro vuelo;
A él, lo maneja con alcohol de caracol y amnesia selectiva;
