I like a good brand as much as I like someone thinking "HELL YAH" when they click the follow button. I was thinking this as I was picking from my 'Titles' folder and wondering how many of my 952 followers are real people still. So, whether you are a bot that auto followed me and spammed broken english comments for upvotes back in the day, or you are someone that took me almost 20 months on steem to discover, here is what you have come to expect, or will now be prepared to receive regular doses of (dangling participles included.)

I am a small business owner working from home so you know I have a weird perspective. One of them is often from the top of a ladder as I slip my technician pants on and climb ladders for the noble and lucrative cause of installing internet for a local internet service provider (ISP.) When you see this who at the top of his ladder, you can eagerly anticipate some pictures of my small town shot about 18 large feet off the ground. Will it be working for a business installing their services and drinking the coffee? Will I kneel on the ground in the scummiest of apartments only to leave a clean spot on the floor? Will I someday fulfill my destiny of granting internet to a pair of lingerie-clad farmer's daughters? Ride along and see what I see until that happens.

I thought I was so damn clever when I stole the lyrics of a song from one of my favorite bands (Clutch http://www.pro-rock.com/) and splattered them on a pic I took camping so that I could blog my adventures. Then I discovered tags like #walkwithme from lindsaybowes@lindsaybowes (I think?) the #wednesdaywalk by tattoodjay@tattoodjay and others. This taught me that there are communities here thinking and producing content along those lines and it was wise to throw your weight behind those like-minded groups. So, you will see this one after a great camping weekend, Jiu Jitsu tournament, sailing regatta, vacation, Vegas trip, or otherwise step way out side the norm for my adventures on this rock.

Thank you, craft beer, for transforming my beer addiction into a cool blog serial! The story goes that I have come from a long line of rednecks and have drank my share of beer. This has never gotten old and now I find myself looking for the new, innovative and interesting beers being produced by entirely too many craft breweries. I enjoy the branding, the bold taste of the sport-hopped IPAs, and the social atmosphere even when populated by bearded hipsters. I will take you with me to the breweries near and far and we can compare golden goodness discoveries from across the planet. All the while, earning Beertokens and sharing our stories with detlev@detlev and the beer army assembling under the #beersaturday banner.

Laziness breeds efficiency so I combine healthy living, parenting, nature stewardship, survival skills, and good old hard work into the garden we are growing in the yard. From initial construction of the raised box, planting of the seeds and journey to the harvest, family lessons, all the way to thrilling macro shots of tomatoes with water droplets, I will share what I learn and we can laugh at my mistakes. The greater intent is to inspire people to action by demystifying the doing of it all, and relying on the lowest common denominator which is along the lines of, "Well if Zeke can do it, I sure as hell can!"

When I first started out and committed to produce 1 post a day, I often found myself searching through the pictures I took on my phone to find content and inspiration. I could get wordy on the segue from that to what has become a cult classic on steem in the form of Your Weekly Zekely, This Week in Zeke, or The Zekely Review. I find it fulfilling to look back on a week to revisit what I have seen, accomplished and survived, talk about it with this community, and hope it is as fun to read as it was to live.

Bits of wisdom get stuck in your head as the years pile on. Often, these little lessons have to smack you in the face several times before you acknowledge they are there and build them into your everyday thinking in an effort to make your life easier. After that for me, I have noticed that once you have acknowledged them, they find opportune times to remind you of their existence.
Hence, Zeke Thoughts I have probably had a particularly long or rewarding day and have been reminded of one of the simple truths I have come to known, have had a couple beers, and feel the need to share them for the greater benefit of the universe. matkodurko@matkodurko calls me Uncle and hopefully this is uncly advice that spurs introspection, constructive thoughts, entertaining conversation, and some sick shitpost burns.

Besides that, I basically will share my adventures which were born years ago from a commitment to never stop learning, never stop doing, never stop failing, and to constantly search for a new experience to taste and story to earn the right to tell. I have more titles, but it is a wonder you have read this far. It took a blockchain to help me organize these into a blog and aspire to entertain and inspire.

I am dad/uncle, the Beerologist, the Jiu Jitsu fighter, computer gamer, the Ladder Walker. I have been in more bands than I can remember, and escape the grind as much as possible to play hockey, race sailboats, and spend time in the wilderness. I am a proud part of the steemitbloggers@steemitbloggers under the banner #powerhousecreatives, supporter of the dtube@dtube movement with dcooperation@dcooperation, benefactor of the mighty nathanmars@nathanmars, professional restaurant reviewer thanks to tasteem@tasteem, concert-going entrepreneurial dynamo bent on buying my freedom and entertaining the masses in my attempt at my second million $ (The first one hasn't come yet so I am just going to work on my second.) I am a steem addict because of the platform, opportunity and community.

Those are some of my brands. Who are you? What is your brand?
