Let Us Hit the Trail!
Better late than never but camping season is finally happening at Casa Pickleman. We normally would have been our a couple times by now but covid closures and uncertain times has delayed our inaugural trip.
Spending the night out doors and sleeping in a tent on the ground is not the idea of fun for many people. It is usually a long drive into the bush with no running water, exposure to the elements, and bugs. FORGET IT!
Unplugging from the routine, changing your perspective, gathering with friends, getting back to nature and doing it with reasonable expenditure are the overwhelming upside. Plus, you get to burn stuff, roast marshmellows and relax.
There are toys, tools and tents. Camping chairs and picnic tables and the serenity of the forest. Kids frolic and adventure and explore to make memories that will last a lifetime.
Of COURSE there will be plenty of beer and no schedule to tell me I can't have one in the morning!
There will be swimming and hiking and hammocking, and loads of pure, juvenile fun.
I will most likely hide from the sun and legions or autograph seekers but I am not too worried about it. The cool thing is I can still stay connected to the blockchain and #hive community if there is cellphone service in that neck of the literal woods.
I will try and share a snip of fun in a shorter post than you are accustomed to from me over the next few days. Hopefully it will feel like a few moments spent camping with my family.
