I have learned about Steemit while browsing for pages and sites about how to earn online. Then after browsing and learning some details about it, I signed up last June 2017.
Since then, Steeming or posting on Steemit becomes part of my daily life/routine. As I am an online freelancer, I have time to spend on posting on sites like this and therefore, I just keep posting even mostly, I was not getting any rewards.
I just think that it is normal not to get much of the rewards or attention when you are new to any site. So you just need to really have patience and be consistent in posting. Also being on a platform like Steemit, you can learn new things and ideas on reading other posts. You can learn how some of the members gain more followers and become successful on the site.
I was able to learn more about cryptocurrencies such as how to convert coins to other coins such as Steem/SBD to Bitcoin. As well as how to use exchanges and/or how to trade coins on those sites.
I have also met some Steemians who become my friends. I might not even met some of them personally, being able to communicate to them and read their posts, is a good thing cause I could learn more and more about them and be more connected.
I was also challenged to think of what topics to posts and able to learn more. Joining various contests on Steemit makes posting encouraging and entertaining too.
I become interested more in photography too as I enjoy joining and posting photo contests. So, Steemit gave me a new hobby which is also rewarding. The rewards that could help members in paying their fees and buy things they want. So for those who are already gaining big rewards, Steemit can really be a life changing platform.
