El saberme sola me abruma,
los recuerdos asfixian y sólo
tengo la luna por respuesta;
fría, opaca, abstracta.
El susurro de la noche
me envuelve sin palabras,
los latidos de mi corazón
delatan lo que siente mi alma.
¿Por qué tratas de atormentarme?
Si te fuiste sin decir nada.
¿Por qué atarme a tu amor?
Si no dejaste huellas, sólo lágrimas.
¿Te encontraré en otros lugares?
¿Te encontrarás en otras almas?
O serás sólo la sombra de un corazón
que todavía te sueña, te extraña.

cold, opaque, abstract.
The whisper of the Night
it envelops me without words,
the beating of my heart
they reveal what my soul feels.
Why are you trying to torment me?
If you left without saying anything.
Why tie me to your love?
If you left no footprints, only tears.
Will I find you in other places?
Will you find yourself in other souls?
Or you'll be just the shadow of a heart
who still dreams of you, misses you.
