Agradecida de estar nuevamente por aqui gracias a la iniciativa de 
Hay algo que se llama Educación Cívica, es una ciencia que estudia el comportamiento humano y que está muy lejos de romper con la cultura cubana. La sociedad cubana se caracteriza por ser muy hospitalaria, se practica mucho el dicho " donde come uno comen 100".
Actualmente hay una ola migratoria en Cuba imparable pero no es el tema, el tema es el destino final del emigrante que escoge o no.
Ahí es cuando comienza la odisea del cubano y su proceso de adaptación, de hecho los cubanos en su mayoría chocan con algo totalmente nuevo y al que les cuesta adaptarse.
La palabra impuesta es "inadaptado", empezando que no sabemos cuando parar, me incluyo, utilizamos el teléfono a la hora de comer, en el trabajo delante de un cliente o de un enfermo que esta necesitando de nuestra atención.
Nos involucramos en conversaciones que no son nuestras, llegamos a cualquier sitio sin ser invitados o esperados, en ocasiones no respetamos la privacidad de alguien más, la informalidad es algo normal en nuestro día a día.
No son todos los cubanos, no quiero generalizar, pero siempre pensamos que somos una gran familia, no es falta de educación, es solidaridad, empatía y muchas otra cosas que estan fuera de lo que realmente se llama Educación Cívica.
Resultado de todo eso es que nos demoramos en encajar. La pregunta es : Idiosincrasia o falta de educación?
Vivimos en una sociedad impuesta que nos consume el dia a dia, el comportamiento humano se está desvoronando y lo que un día llamamos Idiosincrasia pasa a ser falta de Educación Cívica.
Estas situaciones nos confunden y nos hacen sufrir puesto que nos damos cuenta que no teníamos ni la remota idea que lo estábamos haciendo mal.
Es entonces cuando la sociedad que nos acoge nos hace cambiar, es obligado para encajar, unos decidimos hacerlo y otros no. La sociedades a veces son tan injustas a la hora de apreciar lo verdaderamente correcto que cuando regresamos a la cuna que nos vio nacer, más educados en casi todo para no ser absoluta nos rechazan.
Esa sociedad que te viste obligado a abandonar, que te vio crecer y te criticaba muchas veces por tu comportamiento, comienza a criticarte, te tilda de creido, de falta de empatía, de cambiar tu comportamiento con las mismas personas que siempre estuvieron a tu lado.
¿Quién es el que está mal? Te lo empiezas a cuestionar.
Te sientas en una mesa y te quieren llenar de comida y solo pides proteínas y ensalada, atienden sus celulares y tu prefieres atender las llamadas después de la cena.
Comienzas a poner las s en su lugar y a suprimir otras y te quieres hacer el fino. Buscas la hora para hacer una visita y no importunar y te tildan de que haz cambiado.
Sólo estas siguiendo normas de Educación y te ven como a un extraño. Esas personas eufóricas por tu regreso y que querían estar las 24 horas del día junto a ti empiezan a ausentarse, ya ni te llaman y terminan alejándose.
Vuelves y te preguntas, ¿quién esta mal, el mundo o yo?.

The result of all that is that we take too long to fit in. The question is: Idiosyncrasy or lack of education?
We live in an imposed society that consumes us day by day, human behavior is becoming disoriented and what one day we call Idiosyncrasies becomes a lack of Civic Education.
These situations confuse us and make us suffer because we realize that we had no idea that we were doing it wrong..
It is then that the society that welcomes us makes us change, it is obligatory to fit in, some decide to do it and others do not. Societies are sometimes so unfair when it comes to appreciating what is truly right that when we return to the cradle that saw us born, more educated in almost everything so as not to be absolute, they reject us.
That society that you were forced to leave, that watched you grow up and criticized you many times for your behavior, begins to criticize you, calling you a believer, a lack of empathy, to change your behavior with the same people who were always by your side.
Who is the one who is wrong? You start to question it.
You sit at a table and they want to fill you up with food and you just order proteins and salad, they answer their cell phones and you prefer to take the calls after dinner.
You start putting the s's in their place and suppressing others and you want to play nice. You look for the time to make a visit and not to bother and they label you that you have changed.
You're just following the rules of education and they see you as a stranger. Those people elated by your return and who wanted to be with you 24 hours a day start to leave, they don't even call you anymore and end up moving away.
You come back and you wonder, who is wrong, the world or me?.
