"This woman is really getting on my nerves!"
Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000
Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.
So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all. That means that I am aiming at Day 96 being the 21st of July 2025!
Today is Day 26/96.
I have reviewed 39/148.
Time elapsed: 27.08%
Review Completion: 26.35%
Slightly behind!
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $226 to pay off!
Every bit counts!
A Daemoness Character that can boost the longevity of your Daemonette units. It is not an Epic Hero, so you can have up to three of them in your army.
This model is 60pts
Let's see what it does!
Movement 9"
Toughness 3
Save 7+/5++(armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 3
Ld 7+
OC 1
Standard weapons: Heartstring Lyre; Ravaging Claws.
24" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S12, AP-3 and D6+2 Damage each.
Assault (This weapon may be fired even though the unit Advanced)
18" Range, 6 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S6, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Assault (This weapon may be fired even though the unit Advanced)
5 Attacks, Hitting on 2+, S4, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Devastating Wounds (Rolls of a 6 to wound cause Mortal Wounds)
Deep Strike - If this unit arrives on the Battlefield from Reserves, it can be set up anywhere on the battlefield more than 9" from enemy models.
Fights First (This model has the Fights First rule and therefore will strike before enemies - unless they also have Fights First)
While an enemy Psyker is 12 away from this model, Psychic weapons that unit uses has the Hazardous keyword.
In the Command phase return D3 destroyed bodyguard models to this unit.
Being able to bring models back this way can be very powerful. A lot of units lose their punch when you reduce them to 60% and less of their starting strength. But this rule can potentially allow you to run and hide with 3-4 models and come back a turn or two later with neart to or full strength.
It also has a handy anti-psyker ability which is a bit niche but good to have when psykers are a problem.
That makes 27 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 54% Completed! The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 106.
Thank you for reading!
