This is the image I wake up to on my phone because there is no power in my house.
Right now as I am writing this (around 7:20am), my laptop is at 50% battery power while my mobile phone is at 28% battery power. This is all I have until...
... until 10:30am! Then the power comes on for 3.5 hours and goes off for ANOTHER 4 hours, then on again for 3.5 hours and then off again!
This affects me greatly.
My real life job has been quite crazy the last few days and I was hoping that today I would be able to catch up and blog a bit and do some good writing.
But not with THIS sort of power support.
It is not just blogging and internet facilities that gets affected by all this.
This also determines when we can cook raw food.
This also determines when we can use the washing machine for our clothes and we are a family of 5!
At night, this also puts the lighting out so it limits the number of rooms we can utilize with our lighting.
South African homes usually have a lot of backup lights but of course after successive months, the batteries do not last.
Well... I am going to see if I can do a few more things before my battery runs out.
Thanks for reading my rant!
Cheers!
