IMG_20171214_174154_879.jpgMasjidul Aqsa (Arabic: المسجد الاقصى) (also known as Al-Aqsa Mosque or Baitul Mukaddas is the third holiest mosque in Islam. It is located in the old city of Jerusalem. It is situated in the same courtyard with the Kumbhat as Sakhrah, Kubat as Silsila and Kubbat An-Nabi. This complete place, along with the bases, is called Haraam al Sharif. The place is also known as "Temple Mount" and is considered sacred in Jewish religion. According to Islam's description, Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to Mosque from Al-Aqsa Mosque on the night of Miraz and from here he proceeded to the uprising.
