Looking back on 2017
2017 is coming to a close, and I have to say, it's been quite a year. I always seem to forget the intricate details of everything I've done and therefore assume that the year was uneventful, but if I really start thinking about it, I realize that I actually do quite alot for someone who doesn't do alot.
Let's take a look at some of the things i did:
January: Finalized Betwixt & Between and laid the groundwork for Cirque du Enzo (both simfile packs)
April: lifted my personal best back squat of 265 pounds
May: I took up Persona 5!
June: Went to the United States and visited friends in LA and officially founded Single Riders Only
July: Attended AnimeExpo, saw Love Live Aqours in concert, cosplayed from Persona 5, enjoyed July 4th celebrations in America, went to Yosemite National Park. Broke my personal best deadlift and lifted 398 pounds
August: played ITG at Stamina House, hosted a dance game meetup in Pennsylvania and attended my first wedding in the UK, which was also my first time visiting! I joined Steemit and wrote my introduction post!
September: I discovered Bitmex and began trading, as well as developing my blog here!
October: Continued developing my trading skills, as well as made my first four-digit losses and gains and learnt from them. I finally finish Persona 5 for the first time
November: More skill development, particularly with bitcoin. More losses.
December: Finally got my act together and stopped making losses. Crypto knowledege really stepping up now. Restepped Rebuild of Sharpnel and prepared for the release of Cirque du Enzo. I'm still playing Persona 5
Looking into 2018
I've certainly hit the ground running with 2018, and I'm in good stead with crypto. I look into the new year with great confidence and I've never felt more optimistic about the future. This year will definitely be a good one! I hope that this is the year that I can set myself up financially and get a move on with life. I have big plans for myself and this is as good a time as any to set them in motion.
Particularly, I want to visit friends more and spend more time with them. I don't have many friends locally and my best friends all live in other countries, so it's hard for me to see them on a regular basis. However, with decent gains from crypto I'll be able to do that and I can enjoy a much better quality of life.
I also hope to continue stepping and training and moving up. There are lots of things I want to do and with crypto, I can realize them and pull them out of my head and into my hands.
Here's to 2018!
