From the outside, we are seen as physical objects obeying physical laws and following causal relationship, deterministically. Non determinism exists at the quantum level. But I think we don't have a complete theory yet, because if you use the language of physics and only restrict the domain to include us as bodies, physiology etc then yeah there's no word for free will there. But I think it should include things like what is mind, what is intention, subjective perception etc.,
So basically idk, from the physics and basically science (for now) point of view, no such thing as a free will even if you try to include some quantum mechanics at the lower order of the brain etc but I think that's only because we don't have the theory and language yet to talk about the "immaterial" stuff like mind, feelings, consciousness etc
And mind and brain seem related but there's no reason to think they map exactly 1 to 1. Free will exists because I make my own choices
Outside factors exist but we choose how to respond to them. My view on free will is that our wills are determined by prior causes. as Arthur Schopenhauer succinctly expressed: "Man can do what he wills but he cannot will what he wills''.
