Today is Father's Day, but I would also like to dedicate a few words to all those people who have taken on that role with love, responsibility, and dedication.
Because being a father is not always about biology. Sometimes it was a grandfather who raised you as his own child, a mother who had to be both mother and father, an uncle, a stepfather, or anyone who was there when you needed them most.
And speaking of fathers... who hasn't heard some of these legendary phrases?
馃槃 "Do you think money grows on trees?"
馃槃 "Turn off the lights, I'm not paying to illuminate the whole neighborhood."
馃槃 "When you have children of your own, you'll understand."
馃槃 "Go ask your mother."
The funny thing is that, as time passes, many of us end up saying the exact same things. 馃槀
Jokes aside, today is a day to appreciate those who taught us how to get back up after falling, work hard for our dreams, and keep moving forward even when life becomes challenging.
To the fathers who are present, those who live on in our memories, the mothers who embraced both roles, and all the people who left a positive mark on our lives:
