Weekly Bars #15

This week Yogi turns Kanye’s “Ghost Town” [remake], instrumental into a Steemit anthem.

Ghost Town is my favorite record on the new Kanye West album, “Ye”. It’s a powerful song, the kind of music that gives you goose bumps when you listen to it.

The electic guitar rifts, live drums, and bass give this rock-n-roll infuenced track a timeless sound. It’s far from your average hip hop beat.

Yogi gets real personal on this freestyle. He starts off harmonizing the introduction, a mini chorus. *Beat drops* and he comes out firing on all cylinders, boasting about his value on the platform, as well as witty/comedic bars about “introducing Kanye to Steemit”.

I might take this one into the studio and make a full song out of it. My vocals on the intro need a lite auto-tune. 😆
