It had been years since the last time I found myself by the sea, but honestly, it feels like that time flew by at an incredible speed—even though it’s actually been more than five years—since my life seems to be moving at a breakneck pace. Responsibilities and work have wrapped me up in a routine that leaves little room for leisure, much less for pleasure trips. But it was high time to reconnect with the coast, enjoy the Caribbean breeze, and feel the fine sand that characterizes Venezuela’s central coastline beneath my feet.

And so today I’m once again enjoying the sound of the waves, the scorching heat, and at the same time the tranquility that nature’s power brings us. As I reflect on the time that has passed, I’m taking the opportunity to snap a few photos, so everyone can join me in enjoying a serene yet beautiful journey, where black and white captures the scene flawlessly.
From the ruggedness of the rocks, through the softness of the sand, to the dynamism of the sea, we encounter a landscape that stands out for its positive energy, its grandeur, and, at the same time, its extraordinary beauty. Best of all, we’re just a few minutes from the capital city, in a pleasant urban setting full of surprises—one that has truly changed quite a bit since my last visit.
I found the landscape inspiring, but I think the images captured here better convey that feeling, since they are photographs with great depth, where each element speaks for itself and where we can feel captivated by a natural setting that has everything it takes to become a beautiful postcard.
