Hello, guys. Today we have to face the Water-type gym. Do you want to find out everything that happened to us? Well, here we go.
This gym was an impact at first, because we were already thinking it would be an Ice-type gym because of the whole environment, which looked a lot like the one we had played in other regions, but it was completely different. We tried to start with our Tortork, but it quickly fell to the rival's Water-type Pokémon, so we decided to change strategy and put in our Cheimen.
Cheimen using Giga Drain—an attack we substituted for Morning Sun—would be crucial in this gym. We quickly started defeating rivals who specialized in this type and using, of course, our reliable Solar Beam, which, although it took two turns to charge, ended battles in a single hit.
A special feature of this gym is that you have to complete the entire ice path without stepping on the same tile twice, otherwise we would fall to the lower part, as you can see here. There were many trainers we faced with very diverse teams, all Water-type. Perhaps the most challenging Pokémon we faced was a Gyarados, which didn't fall easily and we had to use a couple of Solar Beams.
In the end, Empoleon always kept benefiting from this by distributing experience. And here you can already see our battle against the leader, Aragi. Aragi used her Starmie, which fought against our Empoleon, and we managed to defeat it after a lot of work, to finish with this battle against Wailord, which also cost us a lot, but thanks to our Cheimen we were able to defeat this gym and thus claim our penultimate badge. What return will the next chapter have? Well, we'll see it there.
El Gym tipo agua (Versión en español)
Hola, chicos.
