Well guys, we're back to our adventures. This time we're going after a Pokémon gym. Yes, we're diving straight and strong into this new city, but let me tell you everything that happened in this new adventure. Are you ready? Well, here we go. And well, as you can imagine, in this new city we entered its gym for the first time, which was one of the first things we found along the way.
Well, without beating around the bush, we realize that this is a Flying-type gym because of its structure that reminds us of other regions.
After checking in, we encounter the first trainer who uses Staraptor as their Pokémon Ace. It's neither the first nor the last one we'll encounter in this gym. Something very curious is that it has the shape of a maze and you have to move certain gates to advance through the gym. We also got access to many double battles, which is something always appreciated, at least in my playstyle.
The leader was quite a surprise and a challenge as well. She started with her Skarmory and we with Torchic. We were able to stand up to her, though not without taking quite a bit of damage, always using Sunny Day as our main strategy.
Then she faced us with her Pelipper, which we managed to deal with more or less using our Gyarados and its Psychic. After this, we had to switch Pokémon and she used a Fesant to try to take down our Chimchar. We had to switch this one out and use Empoleon, who was able to stand up to it very well, and even more so after using Swords Dance, and Empoleon ended up facing Bayleef as well.
After defeating this very characteristic Flying-type Pokémon, the gym leader surrenders, but something very curious happens: when she was supposed to give us our badge, she starts crying like the kid she is and runs away. What can we do to get our badge? Well, we'll find out in the next chapter.

El Gym Volador (Versión en español)
Bueno chicos, volvemos a las andanzas. Esta vez vamos a ir a por un gimnasio Pokémon. Sí, entramos fuerte, fuerte en esta nueva ciudad, pero deja que les vaya contando todo lo que sucedió en esta nueva aventura. ¿Están listos? Pues ahí vamos. Y pues, como pueden imaginarlo, en esta nueva ciudad entramos por primera vez a su gimnasio, que era una de las primeras cosas que encontramos en el camino.
Bueno, sin dar muchas vueltas, nos damos cuenta de que este se trata de un gimnasio tipo Volador por su estructura que recuerda a la de otras regiones.
Luego de que nos albergamos, nos encontramos con el primer entrenador que usa a Staraptor como su Pokémon As. No es el primero que nos encontramos ni el último que nos encontraremos en este gimnasio. Algo muy curioso es que tiene la forma de un laberinto y hay que ir moviendo ciertas compuertas para ir avanzando en el gimnasio. También pudimos tener acceso a muchos combates dobles, que es algo que siempre se agradece, por lo menos en mi estilo de juego.
La líder fue toda una sorpresa y un reto además. Ella inició con su Skarmory y nosotros con Torchic. Pudimos hacerle frente, aunque no sin salir con muchos daños, siempre usando Día Soleado como nuestra estrategia principal.
Luego nos enfrentó a su Pelipper, que supimos más o menos lidiar con él con nuestro Gyrados y su psíquico. Luego de esto, tuvimos que cambiar Pokémon y usó a un Fesant para intentar derribar a nuestro Chimchar. Este lo tuvimos que cambiar y utilizar a Empoleon, que sí pudo hacerle frente muy bien y más luego de usar Espada y acabó Empoleon enfrentando también a Bayleef.
Luego de derrotar a este Pokémon tipo volador muy característico, la líder del gimnasio se rinde, pero pasa algo muy curioso, que cuando debía darnos la batalla, esta empieza a llorar como la niña que es y huye. ¿Qué podremos hacer para obtener nuestra medalla? Bueno, esto lo sabremos en el próximo capítulo.
