There is an account that was originally created by my wife for a project she had on the old platform; the account is @stimu. For various reasons, the project didn't move forward, and she asked me to take care of it so she could manage some savings there.

Today I logged into the account and found a notification that it was mentioned in the post WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON???, from seven days ago.

The post aims to report the hacking of several accounts, among which it mentioned @stimu. This led me to check the account balance, and indeed, I discovered that the liquid Hive funds had been drained. A Power Down had also been initiated, which I canceled today—the day the first amount was set to become available.

The flagged account is @leo-audit73, which also transfers funds to @aquanman09.

The bulk of the operations took place on October 19.

I was able to detect that the same user posted some activation messages in the following post which, in my view, must be linked to the massive hack.

Hay una cuenta que originalmente fue creada por mi esposa para un proyecto que tenía en la antigua plataforma; la cuenta es @stimu. Por distintas razones, el proyecto no siguió adelante y ella me pidió atenderla para que ella manejara allí algunos ahorros.

Hoy entro en la cuenta y encuentro una notificación de que la cuenta fue mencionada en el post WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON???, de hace siete días.

La publicación tiene como objetivo denunciar el hackeo de varias cuentas, entre las cuales mencionó @stimu. Esto me llevó a revisar el balance de la cuenta y, efectivamente, descubrí que fueron vaciados los fondos que había en Hive líquido. También empezó un Power Down, el cual cancelé hoy, que era el día en que se hacía disponible un primer monto.

La cuenta señalada es @leo-audit73, que también transfiere fondos a @aquanman09.

El grueso de las operaciones se realizó el día 19 de octubre.

Pude detectar que el mismo usuario publicó en el siguiente post unos mensajes de activación que, a mi modo de ver, tienen que estar vinculados con el hackeo masivo.

One of the aspects that concerns me most about this massive theft is that I am certain there was no data leak. The hacked account is not used regularly, and I am completely sure it was never linked to any external site while active, nor are its keys stored in exposed locations.

This leads me to believe that the system might be experiencing a flaw and has become vulnerable.

I consider myself experienced enough to know that this is not a case of phishing or any of those usual techniques used to steal passwords.

Unfortunately, @leofinance is linked to the creation of the accounts involved and to the verification message that preceded all the thefts.

Although most of these operations took place that day, this sets a dangerous precedent.

I believe it is urgent to conduct an exact and precise investigation into what happened this time to prevent it from happening again.

Uno de los aspectos que más me preocupa de este robo masivo es que estoy seguro de que no hubo filtración de datos, pues la cuenta que me fue hackeada no se usa con regularidad; estoy completamente seguro de que no se hizo link a ningún lado con la cuenta activa y que sus claves no están almacenadas en sitios expuestos.

Esto me lleva a pensar que el sistema puede estar presentando alguna falla y que se ha vuelto vulnerable.

Me considero con suficiente experiencia para saber que no se trata de phishing ni de alguna de esas técnicas usadas para robarle a uno las claves.

Lamentablemente, @leofinance está vinculada a la creación de las cuentas involucradas y al mensaje de verificación que precedió a todos los robos.

Aunque la mayoría de estas operaciones se realizaron ese día, esto sienta un precedente peligroso.

Creo que es urgente que se haga una revisión exacta y precisa de lo que sucedió en esta oportunidad para evitar que se vuelva a repetir.
