LOH #166 *Alone but not lonely*

Merry Christmas to all LOH, it feels good participating in this contest. I must say that the topic chosen by @ifarmgirl is so poignant. So when I read the two questions:

1️⃣ If you invite another Hiver to spend Christmas with you, who would it be? Describe how and where you would celebrate the day. 𝐀𝐍𝐃 / 𝐎𝐑 ~

2️⃣ Would you accept an all-expenses paid trip to another country but it means spending the holiday alone? Why or why not?

I choose to go for number two.
I would accept an all-expenses paid trip to another country even when it meant spending the holiday alone.
Why?
I'd love to experience a change. It's often said that nothing is permanent but change. I know the question that is your mind: ' a change of what'?

A change of environment and every other thing that follows.
I mean, since I was born till the time being, I've always spent the Christmas with my family, so it won't hurt if I have another experience different from the ones I've always had each year with a little or no change in occurrences.

Don't get me wrong, I've always enjoyed being around my family but spending the Christmas alone in another country for me means tourism, exploring and freedom to stretch outside an expected train of things.

As an ambivert, there are times I love being alone. As a creative writer and a poet, I have never felt lonely while being alone with my writing materials. While on the trip, I envision sitting by the window side in a plane with my books ( a fictional novel and a jotter), pen and a camera.
Taking pictures of nature and taking note of things I'd like to write about as I see each of the things that inspires me. Also being a long journey to embark on, I wouldn't forget to go with an headset or air pod as it is also a companion. Listening to podcasts and music has always been one of my best parts in embarking on a distant journey.

On reaching the country where I'll spend my Christmas holiday, jezz! I'll make the best out of it. I'll go on a tour, explore the environment, take picture of and with people, make sure to write down what everyday looks like. I can't forget going to nice restaurants. I've always loved tasting new meals asides. I'll make friends too.

Finally, embarking on a trip if this kind would also be a better place to complete the book I have been working on because I know the environment will be undoubtedly serene and calm.
