| I like to watch sparrows in the cold. Then they seem bigger than they really are, because they loosen their feathers a lot. Sparrows do this to keep warm, because when they raise their feathers, the layer of warm air that envelops these small birds increases, and then they are warmer. But for that the sparrows have to sit still. They usually choose a place in the middle of thick branches on bushes and trees to be safe from attacks from the sky, and sit there, chirping happily. It resembles a real bird bazaar 😊. | Люблю спостерігати за горобцями в мороз. Тоді вони здаються більшими, ніж вони є насправді, бо сильно розпушують своє пір'я. Горобці роблять це для того, щоб зігрітися, бо коли вони піднімають пір'їнки, то повітряний прошарок теплого повітря, який огортає цих малих пташок, збільшується, і тоді їм тепліше. Але для того горобці мусять сидіти нерухомо. Зазвичай вони вибирають для цього місце посеред густих гілок на кущах та деревах, щоб бути у безпеці від атак з неба, і сидять там, весело цвірінькаючи. Це нагадує справжній пташиний базар 😄. |
