| Hello, friends! Today I want to introduce you to another May mushroom that’s known in our area as “pidvyshen” — literally “under the cherry.” Its scientific name is Clitopilus prunulus (I found that out thanks to Google Lens). Interestingly, these mushrooms really do grow under cherry trees, so the folk name is quite accurate. But this time, they appeared not just under a cherry — they sprouted right in the middle of a bed of flowers. Around one of our cherry trees, my wife once planted a lovely ground cover plant — I don’t know its name, but it has narrow, elongated silvery leaves and white star-shaped flowers. It spreads beautifully, creating a living carpet across the soil. And right in the middle of this floral “quilt,” the mushrooms popped up, likely due to their symbiosis with the cherry’s roots. It looked unusual, fascinating, and very aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t pick them, even though they’re considered edible — I just let them be and took a few photos to share with you. Його наукова назва — Clitopilus prunulus (таку я знайшов завдяки Google Photos). Цікаво, що ці гриби справді ростуть під вишнями — тож народна назва «підвишень» чи «підвишні» (в множині) абсолютно логічна й точна. Але цього разу вони виросли не просто під вишнею — а прямо серед квітів. Навколо однієї з вишень моя дружина свого часу висадила красиву покривну рослину. На жаль, не знаю її назви, але опишу: вона має вузьке подовгасте сріблясте листя і білі зіркоподібні квіти. Вона чудово розростається і «зашиває» собою вільні ділянки ґрунту — справжній живий килим. І ось просто серед цієї квіткової «ковдри» виросли підвишні. Ймовірно, завдяки симбіозу з корінням вишні. Це виглядає незвично, цікаво і дуже естетично. Я не став їх збирати, хоча гриб вважається їстівним. Залишив рости, як є — просто зробив кілька фото, якими й ділюся з вами. Помилуйтеся цією красою. 😊 |
