This panty with French Cut or High Leg is very comfortable, its height is between the waist and the hip, in its upper part is straight, and in the back it is quite discreet but it is sexy, because it visually lengthens the legs and emphasizes the "derriere".

This model for its comfort is the favorite of my daughters, and I have made them for years, in different colors and they like them very much. I like to go to the textile stores and buy two or three meters of fabric, I always buy 10 meters of elastic bias and when I feel like sewing I make these panties and they always have a lot.... **How nice it is to sew and make beautiful things for the family that give them quality of life and joy.

Esta panti con Corte Francés o Alto de Pierna es muy cómoda, su altura es entre la cintura y la cadera, en su parte superior queda recta, y en el posterior es bastante discreto pero es sexy, porque visualmente alarga las piernas y enfatiza el "derriere"

Este modelo por su comodidad es el preferido de mis hijas, y se los he confeccionado desde hace años, en diferentes colores y a ellas les gustan muchísimo. Me gusta ir a las tiendas textiles y comprar dos o tres metros de telas, siempre compro 10 metros de sesgo elástico y cuando tengo ganas de coser hago estas pantis y ellas siempre tienen muchas... Que bueno es coser y hacer cosas lindas para la familia que le de calidad de vida y alegría.

I try to keep my patterns as organized as possible. In this folder that I show you, are the patterns of the pantyhose that my daughters only wear. Some are on paper, but I like to have them in pop material or plastic, because they don't deteriorate so easily over time, in fact today's pattern I have it saved in pop material, which became fashionable many years ago for the lining of bags and purses, today I use another material of higher quality for that, and I use pop material now to make patterns.

Mis patrones los trato de guardar lo más organizados posibles. En esta carpeta que les muestro, están los patrones de las pantis que usan mis hijas únicamente. Algunos están en papel, pero me gusta tenerlos en material pop o en plástico, porque no se deterioran tan fácilmente con el tiempo, de hecho el patrón de hoy lo tengo guardado en material pop, que se puso de moda hace muchos años para forro de los bolsos y carteras, hoy en día uso otro material de mayor calidad para eso, y uso el pop ahora para sacar patrones.

Apart from the basic tools for our sewing work, the main material is the fabric, and this time I used some smooth but soft fabrics, since these panties are for my daughter who is an athlete and prefers these fabrics for training, instead of cotton, as they dry the sweat much faster. However, for the rest of the day if she wears cotton panties, liquefied cotton, flannel, microdurazno among others, all these fabrics can be used to make underwear.

Aparte de las herramientas básicas para nuestra labores de costura, el principal material es la tela, y en esta ocasión dispuse de unas telas licradas pero suaves, ya que estas pantis son para mi hija que es deportista y prefiere esos géneros de tela para entrenar, en lugar de algodón, ya que secan el sudor mucho más rápido. Sin embargo, ya para el resto del día si usa pantis de algodón, algodón licrado, franela, microdurazno entre otras, todas estas telas las puedes utilizar para confeccionar ropa interior.

With this material I am going to make two pantyhose, one in completely black, and the other black with a dark print. The pattern I am going to use consists of 3 pieces: Front, Back and Crotch. Each piece is cut once to make a pantyhose. I cut two of each, as I am going to make two pantyhose. Additionally, I cut the small crotch piece out of cotton fabric, to protect the intimate area.

Now with all the pieces ready, we begin our French Cut or High Leg Pantyhose:

Con este material voy a confeccionar dos pantis, una en color negro completamente, y la otra negro con un estampado oscuro. El Patrón que voy a utilizar consta de 3 piezas: Delantero, Posterior y Entrepierna. Se corta una vez cada pieza para confeccionar una panti. Yo corté dos de cada una, a que voy a hacer dos pantis. Adicionalmente, la pieza pequeña de la entrepierna la corté en tela de algodón, para proteger la zona íntima.

Ahora con todas las piezas listas, comenzamos nuestra Confección de Panti Corte Francés o Alto de Pierna:

I start with the back piece, in the lower part of the crotch joining curve, I mark the center with a pique. I also mark the center of the crotch piece on the litho fabric.

I face right to right, considering or matching the picks of their centers, as shown in the picture:

Empiezo con la pieza del Trasero o posterior, en la parte inferior curva de unión a la entrepierna, marco con un piquete el centro. A la pieza de la entrepierna en la tela licrada le marco también el centro.

Enfrento derecho con derecho considerando o haciendo coincidir los piquetes de sus centros, como se ve en la imagen:

I'm going to place the other crotch piece that we cut in cotton and I'm going to place it below the back piece that's the exact order and without mistakes that we should put together. Now I fix the three pieces with the pins, very carefully because being a curved shape it is not so fast to match them, but it is not difficult, fix them well and sewing will be very easy.

Voy a ubicar la otra pieza de la entrepierna que cortamos en algodón y la voy a colocar debajo de la pieza trasera ese es el orden exacto y sin errores que debemos armar. Ahora fijo las tres piezas con los alfileres, con mucho cuidado ya que al ser una forma curva no es tan rápido hacerlos coincidir, pero no es difícil, fíjalos bien y coser será muy fácil.

Here I show you how it looks like what we just put together, now I lower with my hand the crotch piece in lycra fabric being its face up and I am going to present the front piece with its face down. so that they face each other face to face as seen in the sequence:

Aquí te muestro como se ve lo que acabamos de armar, ahora bajo con mi mano la pieza de la entrepierna en tela licrada quedando su cara hacia arriba y voy a presentar la pieza del delantero con su cara hacia abajo. de manera que se enfrentan cara con cara como se ven en la secuencia:

I love this part I'm going to make a roll going down the pieces from top to bottom, until before I get to the crotch edge, like this:

Esta parte me encanta voy a hacer un rollo bajando las piezas de arriba hacia abajo, hasta antes de llegar al borde de la entrepierna, así:

Because of the order in which we did the first assembly, the cotton crotch was last, as you can see in the red arrow. Now we take pieces of the liquefied fabrics and we are going to separate it from what we are doing the cotton fabric, we pass it with the hand backwards, upwards, and we take it to join with the liquefied pieces, where I point with the blue arrow. Here is all beautifully assembled we fix it with pins.

Por el orden en que hicimos el primer armado, la entrepierna de algodón quedó de última, como ves en la flecha roja. Ahora tomamos piezas de las telas licradas y vamos a separarla de lo que estamos haciendo la tela de algodón, la pasamos con la mano hacia atrás, hacia arriba, y la llevamos a unir con las piezas licradas, donde señalo con la flecha azul. Aquí está todo hermosamente armado fijamos con alfileres.

This is how it should look... Now we pass straight stitching on the two sides where we put pins.

Así debe verse todo... Ahora pasamos costura recta en los dos lados donde pusimos alfileres.

And it is that clean and neat. What we have obtained is the inner part of the crotch, and the roll of fabric that was left inside is the front and back.

Y queda así de limpio y prolijo. Lo que hemos obtenido es la entrepierna en su parte interna, y el rollo de tela que quedó dentro, es el delantero y trasero.

We are going to disassemble the roll with our fingers, take the roll and pull it all to one side, so that the whole piece turns outwards.

Vamos a desarmar ese rollo con nuestros dedos tomamos el rollo y lo halamos todo hacia un lado, para que de la vuelta hacia afuera toda la pieza.

The crotch has several ways of sewing, each seamstress adopts the one she likes the most. I use this one because it's like magic, to completely make the inside and turn it inside out and it's all ready, it's a pleasure for me.
Notice how it looks on the inside and outside, all the seams are hidden.... ❤️❤️ I love it.

La entrepierna tiene varias formas de coserse, cada costurera adopta la que más le gusta. Yo uso este porque es como magia, hacer completamente el interior y voltearlo y que esté todo listo, me genera un placer.
Fíjate como se ve por dentro y por fuera, todas las costuras están escondidas... ❤️❤️ Me encanta

Now we are going to sew the elastic and split bias binding all along the curve of one leg, with zig zag stitching.

Ahora vamos a coser el sesgo elástico y partido en toda la curva de una de las piernas, con costura zig zag

We sew two or three centimeters of bias and then we introduce the fabric. We are going to stretch just a little bit the bias, you can mark 5 cms and stretch 1 cm, or do it lightly with your pulse as I do. Do not stretch the fabric, just the bias. The zig zag should be on the edge of the bias and towards its center (not things on the fabric).

Cosemos dos o tres centímetros de sesgo y ya seguro introducimos la tela. Vamos a estirar solo un poco el sesgo, puedes marcar 5 cms y estirar 1 cm, o hacerlo ligeramente con tu pulso como yo lo hago. No estires la tela, solo el sesgo. El zig zag debe quedar en el borde del sesgo y hacia su centro (no cosas en la tela)

See how beautiful it looks, it has just enough elasticity to keep the shape of the panty but it does work.
Repeat the process on the other leg.

Ve que hermoso se ve, tiene la elasticidad suficiente para que no se pierda la forma de la panti pero si funciona.
Repetimos el proceso en la otra pierna.

Now we join one of the sides with straight stitching, and with a lot of attention to match the elastics well this is a Commercial Quality detail and it must be perfect ❤️❤️

Ahora unimos uno de los lados con costura recta, y con mucha atención para que coincidan bien los elásticos esto es un detalle de Calidad Comercial y debe quedar perfecto ❤️❤️

On the inside, we always pass the excess or edge towards the back piece, to make a repise that will allow us to guarantee that the seam will not open and that at the same time adds beauty.

Por dentro, pasamos el excedente o borde hacia la pieza trasera siempre, para realizar un repise que nos permitirá garantizar que no se va a abrir la costura y que al mismo tiempo le aporta belleza.

With the same technique or indications we place the elastic bias to the waistband of the panty.

Con la misma técnica o indicaciones colocamos el sesgo elástico a la cintura de la panti.

And we close now, the other side in the same way, including the repise.

Y cerramos ahora, el otro lado del mismo modo, incluyendo el repise.

A well made pantyhose should stretch very well without cutting the threads, stretch it well and check that this is the case, this tells us that it is well made and will last.
tells us that it was made well and that it will last.

Una panti bien hecha debe de estirar muy bien sin que se corten los hilos, estira bien y chequea que así sea, esto
nos dice que se confeccionó bien y que va a durar.

Check your pantyhose inside and out, make sure that the threads are not broken, that it is not deformed, that you have not forgotten a trim, clean the loose threads and that it keeps its shape.

Revisa tu panti por dentro, por fuera, que no se rompan los hilos, que no se deforme, que no hayas olvidado un repise, limpia los hilos sueltos y que mantenga su forma.

The panty should look like the ones you see in stores, that the model is well appreciated and that the elastic tension does not make too many gathers that compromise its shape.

La panti debe quedar como las que uno ve en las tiendas, que se aprecia bien el modelo y que la tensión elástica no haga demasiado frunces que comprometan su forma.

If you follow these recommendations or tips that I extended, I guarantee that you will be able to make a good product. Experiment with different fabrics and combinations.
