Today, I crocheted a white rose, and I thought I would share its tutorial with you all. At first, I thought it would be very difficult to make, but when I made it, I found it quite easy. There are not many complications. It is an easy tutorial. If someone knows how to crochet, it will be easy for them, but it may be a little difficult for beginners. And in the end, it looked very beautiful. So now, without wasting much time, let's start the tutorial.
Making Small Petals
To make this rose, we need to make 7 petals: 2 small petals, 2 medium petals, and 3 large petals. First, let's make the small petals. To make a small petal, we have to make a magic ring, chain 1, and then make 5 single crochet stitches. Close the magic ring. In Round 2, we have to make 5 increases, which means making 2 single crochet stitches in every stitch. We will have 10 single crochet stitches in total. In Round 3, we have to make 1 single crochet and 1 increase. We will have 15 stitches in total. In Round 4, we have to make 2 single crochet stitches and then 1 increase. We will have 20 stitches in total. In Round 5, we have to make 3 single crochet stitches and 1 increase. We will have 25 stitches in total. In Round 6, we have to make 4 single crochet stitches and then 1 increase. We will have 30 stitches in total.
Now, we will keep increasing in the same way until Round 6. In Round 7, we have to make the curved parts of the petal, so this round is a little different from the other rounds. First, make 4 single crochet stitches, then 1 increase. After that, make 2 single crochet stitches. Then make another single crochet stitch, chain 2, and make 1 single crochet stitch again in the same stitch. We have to repeat this pattern 7 times. This means 2 single crochet stitches, then 1 more single crochet stitch, chain 2, and make a single crochet stitch again in the same stitch. After repeating it 7 times, make 4 single crochet stitches and cut the yarn. In this way, our small petal will be ready. We have to make 2 small petals.
Making Medium Petals
Now, let's make the medium petals. The medium petals are exactly like the small petals until Round 6. Make them the same way as the small petals up to Round 6. In Round 7, make 5 single crochet stitches and 1 increase. We will have 35 stitches in total. Now, in Round 8, make 6 single crochet stitches, then 1 increase. After that, make 2 single crochet stitches, then 1 single crochet stitch, chain 2, and make 1 single crochet stitch in the same stitch. Repeat this 7 times. After that, make 1 increase and then 6 single crochet stitches. In this way, our medium petals will also be ready. They are very similar to the small petals, with only a few differences. Make them in the same way as the small petals, but with a few more increases.
Making Large Petals
Now, let's make the large petals. The large petals are also very similar to the medium petals. Make them exactly the same as the medium petals until Round 7. Then, from Round 8, make 6 single crochet stitches and 1 increase. We will have 40 single crochet stitches in total. Now, in Round 9, make 8 single crochet stitches and then 1 increase. After that, make 2 single crochet stitches. Again, make 1 single crochet stitch, chain 2, and make 1 single crochet stitch in the same stitch. Repeat this 7 times. After repeating it 7 times, make 2 single crochet stitches, then 1 increase, and then 7 more single crochet stitches. Cut the yarn, and our large petals will also be ready. In total, we need to make 2 small petals, 2 medium petals, and 3 large petals.
Making Leaves
Now, it is time to make the leaves. We also need to make 2 leaves. Make 11 chains, then 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 5 double crochet stitches, 1 half double crochet again, and 1 single crochet. Then, make 3 single crochet stitches in the same stitch. This means making 3 stitches in one stitch. On the opposite side, make 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 5 double crochet stitches, 1 half double crochet, and 1 single crochet. Now, in the next rounds, make single crochet stitches in all the stitches while inserting the wire. In Round 3, we have to repeat this pattern: make 2 chains, then 1 slip stitch in the next stitch. Keep doing the same thing: 2 chains, 1 slip stitch, 2 chains, and 1 slip stitch. In this way, our leaves will also be ready.
Making the Sepal
Now, we have to make the sepal. To make the sepal, first make a magic ring, then chain 1 and make 10 single crochet stitches. Close the magic ring. In the next round, make 10 increases. We will have 20 stitches in total. In the third and fourth rounds, make only single crochet stitches, which means 20 single crochet stitches in each round. Now, in Round 5, make 10 chains and then a slip stitch in the chain. After that, make 1 single crochet, 3 half double crochet stitches, 3 double crochet stitches, and 1 triple crochet. Then, skip 3 stitches and make a slip stitch in the fourth stitch. Repeat this pattern 5 times, and our sepal will be ready.
Assembling the Rose
Everything is ready. Now, it is time to assemble it. First, I took a wire and covered it with green yarn. Then, I assembled the small petals first, followed by the medium petals and then the large petals. After that, I added the sepal and attached it properly with glue. I also wrapped the leaves around the wire using yarn and attached them with glue. In this way, our white rose was ready.
