Hello lovely hivers and hello foodies bee hive community. I hope you are all doing great today 馃尭

It's raining here in our place since morning. I really want something with soup and good thing my Aunt went here earlier and she told me that she will going to the market. I asked her if she can buy me some chicken and chayote because I will be.cooking Tinolang Manok.

Chicken Tinola is a common dish here in the Philippines. It's a chicken sauteed with ginger , garlic and onion add some soup and vegetables. For some they are adding papaya or chili leaves and for some they want chayote and moringa. As for me I preffered adding some green papaya but unfortunately there's no available green papaya in our backyard that's why I added some chayote.

This recipe is easy to cook and it's really good for rainy days.

Ingredients needed:

Chicken
Chayote
Ginger
Garlic
Onion
Water
Fish sauce
Moringa

Preparation:

Slice the chicken and wash it thoroughly. Mince the garlic, onion and going. Slice the chayote like this.

Let's cook.

In the casserole sauteed the ginger, garlic and onion. I always add the ginger first as my father taught me about it. How about you which one do you sauteed first?

After a couple of seconds add the chicken and add some fish sauce. In our native language we called it sangkutsa. Once the chicken is firm like this you can now add some water.

Just let it boil and taste it. Add some fish sauce until you achieved your desired taste. Add the chayote and moringa and green chili. Let it boil again and turn off the heat.*

The finished recipe.
