Hi guys allow me to share with you what happened today. I'm sorry I cannot provide pictures because aside from being too busy lately enjoying the rest of the day, we also had rule NO PHONES ALLOWED during the day so that we can really enjoy our time together. We really really missed each other.
This is the only pic we have together before we go home to our homes.
We hadn't seen one other in a long time. We agreed to stay in touch despite the fact that life had led us in various paths. It wasn't the same whether we spoke on the phone or exchanged emails and messages. We missed the good old days as much as one another.
But the day eventually arrived when we could get together. We made the choice to make the most of it by going to the beach for the day. The sea was calm, the beach was warm, and the sun shone. We had the best day we could have hoped for.
We arrived at the beach early in the morning, and we were greeted by the sound of seagulls and the smell of saltwater. We spread our beach towels on the sand, set up our umbrella, and started to unpack our cooler. We had brought sandwiches, fruit, and plenty of drinks to keep us hydrated throughout the day.
As soon as we were set up, we ran into the water. The cool water felt refreshing and invigorating. We laughed and splashed each other, like we used to when we were kids. We had so much fun that we didn't even realize how much time had passed.
After a while, we decided to take a break and rest under the shade of our umbrella. We talked about everything that had happened in our lives since we last saw each other. We shared our successes, our failures, our hopes, and our dreams. We caught up on all the missed years, and it felt like we had never been apart.
Before we knew it, it was already midday, and we were hungry. We opened our cooler and enjoyed our sandwiches, while looking out at the sea. We were surrounded by the sound of waves crashing and the salty smell of the ocean. We felt happy and content.
The rest of the afternoon was spent on the beach playing games, making sandcastles, and gathering shells. And we even went swimming one more and shared a sunset together. We felt fortunate to be seeing the amazing sky hues together.
As the day came to an end, we packed up our things, and headed back to the car. We were tired, but happy. We felt recharged and grateful for the time we had spent together. We hugged each other and promised to keep in touch more often.
We hadn't seen one other in a while, but we were both aware that our relationship was stronger than ever. We had spent a lovely day together at the beach, making new memories that we would treasure for years to come.
