I've been working with #teammalaysia behind the steemit scenes to produce something truly unique.
Having spent some time living in and exploring Malaysia, I have developed a deep love for that land. I know many people who have ventured to SE Asia, with just a backpack and head full of ambitions. Usually when traveling the SE Asia region, they miss out Malaysia. I don't know why this extraordinary place gets skipped, but it seems to happen all too often. In response to this TRAGEDY (yes, I am dramatic), I have teamed up with the guys at #teammalaysia to produce the ultimate travel guide for Malaysia! The aim is to encourage more people to travel there and to give both a local and expat insight into the best way to do so. Expect hidden gems, local flavours, off-the-beaten-track experiences and much more. Consider this steemit's first independent guide to Malaysia!
I don't usually ask for upvotes or support on my blog, but please do upvote, resteem and help promote the upcoming posts in any way you can - the majority of the SBD earned from the posts will go back to the authors.
This initiative will help the local talent (the writers) and aims to inspire and inform you about this wondrous place and hopefully tempt you to journey there! I wanted to work with #teammalaysia for two reasons. Firstly, I don't think you can make a real travel guide without the locals and secondly I wanted to give something back to this community.
So far I have already covered Bali in my TRAVEL series, next up is Malaysia with many more countries to follow!
