ENGLISH

Why would you watch a horror or supernatural series or movie? Out of curiosity, out of fashion? Or, maybe it's the fact that it allows you to face the fear of the unknown, even death itself. In particular, I do not know how I got to see Ghost Hunt at the time, even more, when I'm not a big fan of this genre, but somehow I ended up watching it, I even looked for the manga, which unfortunately I could not finish it because I could not find it complete and the anime was not finished; perhaps it is also that by the time I saw it I was a super fan of the Supernatural series and therefore, I was attracted to see an anime of this style of genre.

As a result, she gets involved in a story that takes place in an abandoned building on campus, where ghosts are the central theme.

Because of her curiosity, knowing what was going on inside that building, she observes that a mysterious video camera is inside it and in that, she is surprised by Kazuya's assistant, who ends up hurting himself; but, because of that surprise, she ends up breaking that video camera.

Because she can't afford it, she ends up being Kazuya's assistant to solve the case of the abandoned building, since the school principal hires her to solve it. Personal opinionl

Ghost Hunt is an anime with a particular touch to make us enter the suspense and fear, even with its inconsistent characters, which may not quite fit you, its central point makes it clear and is to cause fear in the viewer, in a way that you get that feeling that something more creepy is looming in the case to be solved.

All the cases that are presented in the story differ from each other and that, in particular, gives greater dynamism to the plot, invites you to want to see the next chapter to know what dark secrets the spiritual world holds. They say that you have to fear the living more than the dead, however, this series makes you reflect that both worlds are dangerous and that even the dead can continue to torment others, as they did in life.

Even with the various stories that are engendered throughout the anime, it is presented in a very fluid, understandable and in order, so that getting lost in the events I do not think it is possible. Adding that the environment in which it unfolds makes you feel that you are clearly in the 2000s, but with a slightly different feeling, as if the color palette, music and other theatrical elements, combine harmoniously.

Unfortunately, as it did not have a continuation in the anime, it did not receive a large audience, as it leaves a few gaps in the plot, which disarrange a story that has a good development.

I must admit that, if I got scared in a few chapters, it may be because I was younger, I would have to watch it again, to know if it causes the same impression, although when I remember a specific chapter, it gives me goosebumps, because ghosts exist in real life, they do and, for that reason you have to be clear about it, not deny it, but rather cope with them.

To be honest, I didn't remember the name, if I knew how the plot was and everything else, I searched the internet for the best horror anime and this one was in 5th place, so it's not bad, it's really interesting and deals with these supernatural themes very well, even with its certain flaws, which I think can be overlooked. And you, are you a fan of supernatural and paranormal themes?
