Lately, have been reminiscing on my service year; last year as a corp member. I served in a hospital, Alliance Hospital and services, I can still remember the name vividly. It was at No 2, Malumfashi close, Area 11,in the capital city, Abuja. I was also a member of the Nigerian Red cross (NRC), Abuja chapter.
At the office.
Going out for CDS
I was also a member of RCCF (Redeemed Christian Corper's Fellowship), where I served in the capacity as a Choir director. We went for several concerts, and different churches invited us over. It's was so inspiring blessing alot of people with our voices, that's where I started learning how to play a piano.
Ministering at a Redeemed church at Nicon Luxury, Abuja.
Myself and my Choir members after a concert.
After few weeks of passing out from NYSC (National Youth Service Corps; Its like a one year compulsory voluntary service for every graduate in Nigeria).

It's was dawn on me that I was jobless and had no skills at the same time. After submitting so many CV's and there was no call up, I decided to use a little of my savings during my service year to learn photography at a studio. I find it hard to improved because I didn't have a camera, and I didn't have enough funds to get one.
With my Boss's camera... Lol.
Playing with the mirror in the studio.
While I was still contemplating on what to do, I opted to illustration. It was really hard at first because it's was entirely self-teaching with the aid of some tutorials online, but everyday I draw, I keep breaking new grounds, the results are what you see today.
My first illustration
So every artwork you have seen me drawn, i learnt them by myself , that is why I'm so passionate about sharing my knowledge through those tutorials. They are all original, and some tricks I have shared I learnt them through practicing.

So why am I having a playback of the past? It's just because I'm imagining how great I will become in future, and how big what its hold for me. We can become anything we choose to become, just be consistent and passionate about anything you are doing, everything will just fall in place for you. I have not gotten that big break yet, but I know it will come soon.
And so you know I'm still using a mouse (It's every stressful, it would have been much more easier with a iPad or a graphics tablet like WACOM). It's not about the tool, its about you, so you don't have any excuse.
