Good night or good morning everyone, hope u all doing great.

So, this time I was working on my piece for the Blast prompt, and I think it’s actually the first time I’ve done something like this. At first, idk, I didn’t really have a clear idea of what to do.

I was talking with a friend about comics😀 stuff like Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Batman and others ... and I guess that’s where the inspiration kinda came from . Somehow, it ended up looking more like a comic book cover, which was actually what I was trying to go for (or at least that’s what I thought I wanted lol).

Originally, I wanted to use the Light Healer, but with a more playful vibe. I had something like Harley Quinn’s energy in mind .. a bit chaotic, kinda crazy ... and I think that ended up showing through a little.

This time I worked in Photoshop instead of Corel Painter, and used a brush with texture, ‘cause honestly I prefer it that way. I’m not a fan of super clean lines... I just like when it has a bit of roughness, makes it feel more alive.

I also played more with the contrast between black and white this time. I wanted it to feel a bit stronger, like there’s more impact when you look at it . I like how black and white can tell a story on their own, without needing much color. It’s like you can feel the energy just from the balance between light and shadow.

About the lines… yeah, they’re not perfect (not even close lol), but I feel like I’ve gotten a bit better at handling them. Before, I used to overthink every single line, trying to make it clean and perfect, and it honestly just made me tired. Now I just let them be, and somehow it feels more natural. It’s not about being perfect anymore ........ it’s about the rhythm and the flow. I think that’s what’s been making the process a lot more fun lately.

I guess that’s also part of what “Blast” means for me ... just letting go of control a bit, creating without overthinking it. And tbh, that made the process way more fun.

Still a lot to improve, but compared to the first Zingtober days, this one felt way more chill and natural.

And honestly, I think that shows.

A while ago I was looking for this little shark you see down here 🦈. It’s really special to me. I won it a long time ago here, n it was done by a person many years ago but also I consider a GREAT GREAT GREAT FRIEND now n who does amazing work , very talented🤗.

I thought I had lost it , I was very sad… but noooo! I got it back! Yes ! He found n sent it to me again, and I’m so happy to have it with me once more.
So from now on, this shark will be keeping me company 💙
