I continue working on #CorelPainter and constantly working on improving my style. That is why lately I have been reading and studying works that capture that particular style that I so want to achieve... The piece that I bring you tonight is like an experiment in progress, a way to continue polishing that style that I love so much, passionate hahaha.
What do I want to convey with this? Well... We all know that art is something subjective, so each person can interpret it differently. In my case,... I made this piece with the idea of expressing manipulation in our current era, but with a dark touch that has always fascinated me... I tried to capture that silent struggle that is faced in a world where manipulation is constant . It is like that subtle shadow that guides us, shapes us, and often we are not even aware of such influence.
We live in a digital age saturated with advertising and an excess of low-value content that is constantly created every day. This avalanche of content keeps us glued to our devices, spending many hours on social networks... Where "apparently", this content entertains us, but without knowing it, it may be shaping our beliefs and perspectives without us realizing it.

Now I'll tell you more or less what I did to get to the final result... The first of all was the idea in my head and after that I went to my #CorelPainter and choosing the brush with an impressionist style I made what would be the figure leaving some texture. 😋😋😋
-.-
✨-.-✨
With the same brush making random strokes complete the background and detail the portrait a little more by making some shadows to detail the features of the face a little more.
-.-
✨-.-✨
With an Oily Blender brush, soften the brush strokes that the drawing had in the previous steps since the brush I used above left many imperfections due to the texture it has.
-.-
✨-.-✨
Here I adjusted the portrait by rotating it a little so that it fit in the position I wanted... Also with the hard pastel style brush that leaves the texture of chalk or crayons... I drew the eyes and nose and so on, the features of the face are not I had done them before and I needed them to work as a guide.
-.-
✨-.-✨
Here I only detail more the things that I had already done and added some other details such as the hair in order to further improve my piece.
-.-
✨-.-✨
With my work being much more detailed, I focused on finishing what would be my idea since I still needed other things for said idea to turn out as I had thought, a little more darkness.
