One plate. No spoon for big man, no spoon for small pikin. Everybody will eat together, gist together, laugh together. That joy you feel in that moment, you cannot buy it with money.
In the city, everybody eats alone. You press phone, you eat alone, you sleep alone. But at home, food tastes sweeter because it is shared. Joy is bigger because it is shared.
Home is where you are corrected with love. Where your mother will shout at you and still keep food for you at night. Where your father will advise you and still pray for you silently.
Home is where you belong even when you have nothing.
The world outside is fast and noisy. Everybody is hustling. Everybody is busy. But home is calm. Home is peace.
That is why no matter how far a person travels, when December comes, everybody wants to go homeeeeee the feeling is amazing!!🥹
