We’re lucky to have little people over for the holidays — 2 year old niece & 1 year nephew — along with my sister-in-law, her husband and nanny.
This makes for a very lively household in our not so large home — so going out for a walk is a good idea :)
Kiddies enjoyed a trip to a nearby park, where they got to visit with iguanas, squirrels, herons, ducks and pigeons.
Here’s a peek:
Further down the street, we could sit at a bench and watch boats, or tiki bars, go sailing by :
After our little outing, it was time to prepare for a small Christmas party.
We cleared up the clutter, as best we could and put together a simple dinner which we shared with a couple of friends.
Thanks, to a bottle of rum & free flowing wine, the festivities lasted until nearly 1am with lots of laughter and a few tears as we bonded and shared our trials and tribulations …. Ah, humanity!
Today, everyone is moving slower and the plan is to unwrap our Christmas gifts, soon, and if we’re all up for it maybe go for a swim at the pool (as the beach would be too crowded, today).
Sending good cheer from our home to yours and hope this finds you/loved ones doing well 😇
May the New Year bring you unforeseen gifts 🎁
