Yesterday (8/24), I rented a rental space in Kyoto City and held a sketching session.
However, no one joined us even though I called out to them here and there. Sad....
The rental space costs about 700 yen per hour, and since we rented it for 3 hours, it cost about 2100 yen.
I thought about cancelling the meeting, but I decided to have a one-person sketching session at the rental space because it looked like I could do it freely as long as I cleaned up.
First, I prepared a sketchbook and art supplies and went to a nearby supermarket to get some things to draw.
I bought tomatoe, cucumber, and bell pepper.
The rental space was only a bus ride away from my house, and it was easy to find the way, so I arrived there quickly. Inside the space was like a small conference room with desks and chairs.

昨日（8/24）は、京都市内のレンタルスペースを借りてスケッチ会をしました。
といっても、あちこちで呼びかけたのに誰も参加してくれませんでした。悲しい…。
レンタルスペースも利用料が1時間で約700円要るのですよ。3時間借りたので約2100円要りました。
キャンセルしようかと思いましたが、掃除さえすれば自由にできそうだったから、レンタルスペースで一人スケッチ会をすることにしました。
まずはスケッチブックと画材を準備して、近くのスーパーで描くものを調達しました。
トマト、キュウリ、パプリカを買いました。
レンタルスペースは自宅からはバス１本で行けて、道もわかりやすかったのですぐ着きました。中は机と椅子が並べてあって小さな会議室みたいなスペースでした。

First, I did a rough sketch in pencil. / まず鉛筆で下描きをします。
I drew the preliminary sketch in quite a lot of detail. / 下描きを結構細かく描きました。
Coloring with watercolor. / 水彩で着色します。
I colored the vegetables. / 野菜を着色しました。
I colored the plate. / お皿を着色しました。
The mat under the plate was expressed only with pencil, signed, and completed. / お皿の下のマットは鉛筆だけで表現し、サインして完成です。
The time required was about 1 hour and 30 minutes. / 所要時間は約1時間30分でした。

I was lonely that day and could not concentrate on my painting so I could take pictures (usually when I am painting, I concentrate too much and always finish before I can take pictures).
I spent the rest of the day writing a draft for my blog, and then cleaned up and left.
So, now that I know that no one will come to my house for this kind of thing, I would like to go back to my days of staying at home and painting.

この日は寂しくて絵に集中しきれなかったので撮影ができました（普段絵を描いている時は集中し過ぎて撮影する前にいつも完成してしまいます）。
残った時間はブログの原稿を書いたりして、片付けて帰りました。
ということで、こんなことしても誰もこないということがわかったので、また家にひきこもって絵を描く日々に戻りたいと思います。
