Today is the last day of April and so tomorrow's May 1, obviously.
Well, May 1 happens to be a day locally called as "Pista'y Dayat" (Sea Festival). It happens annually in celebration of the bountiful harvest of abundant fishes and is now considered as the grandest festivity in the province of Pangasinan. Coastal towns have local activites and people do flock by the beach to join in the activities or just to celebrate summer vacation or just maybe to cool down by the beach on this hot summer day.
So it is! One hot summer day
Coincidentally, we opted to spend the afternoon by the beach. Out of boredom maybe, or just plain spur of the moment thing that we decided to calm our relatives and friends to come over since we live a mighty stone throw away from the beach. With no second thoughts, and like a snap of a finger, we were on the beach happily refreshed by the sight of the sea.
These kids were refrained from swimming as yet since it was still so hot and the adults are still busy feasting on foods (lol) so no one would take care of the kids while swimming.
So there they were busy-ing their lives with the sand. Poor kids, no shovels or pails, just plastic cups and disposable spoons. Yet they were happily playing making what-nots. Lol.
