Here's a fairly minimalist piece that I did several years ago for an Old School Game Setting. I am a fairly big Mike Mignola fan and I think that some of that influence can be seen here with the minimal rendering and reliance on contrast and form. I really like that style as it is pretty impactful and also good if you are going to colour it. I've been doing a lot of ink washes these days. I love doing those as well, but it is a bit of a different thought process. Anyway, I plan on going back and adding colour to this piece. Probably do a similar rather flat colour pallet as is generally applied to Mignola's work. Enjoy and happy gaming!
