Here is another one that I did in Corel Painter. I wanted to take Painter for more of a test drive and I was quite pleased with the way it handled. I think you really need a tablet like a Cintiq to truly get the most out of Painter, but man, with my Cintiq, it really is a lot of fun. Much like more traditional painting but without all the mess and cleanup!
Anyway, this is a sort of sci-fi homage to the King in Yellow/Carcosa mythos. Carcosa station near the Hali Gas cloud outside the Hyades star cluster. Of course there is the ominous black hole with the rotating light corona in the shape of my version of the Yellow Sign. Enjoy and happy gaming!
