I hope you like this short story
A small machine, similar to a radio. It's much bigger and complicated though. This time machine was thrown with scrap which belong to the military base.
One day, a young man called Alex found the time machine in the town's most fmous second-hand market. Actually, a little poor boy was exposing this machine along with other old products. The little boy didn't know nor the way the small machine works, neither why it was invented. However, Alex was stunned by the weird shape of this machine, and its heavy weight for a small machine like this. He then purchased it with a cheap price.
After Alex had bought the machine, he was looking hard for the way this last works in order to use it proprely. According to websites, the product he bought was a time machine which has been used only for going back in time. So, he felt extremely glad because this was a great opportunity for him to change some black details in his past so as to live a brighter future. The young man was trying to recall the worst memories he's got. But nothing was more painful than his mother's death at an early age. In fact, his mom passed away because she had a horrible accident.
Alex decided to turn on the time machine to go back in time and to prevent his mom from dying. Suddenly, powerful waves emerged and absorbed Alex's body. He was moving so fast that he started feeling dizzy. So, he found out he travelled 10 years ago. He then saw his mom crossing the road after buying some stuff. He whispered : "This is exactly where my mom died". Abruptly, he hurried and bumped into his mom so hard that the stuff she bought fell from her hands.
This way, he prevented his mom from crossing the road while the truck's driver was driving so fast and was supposed to kill her.
Right after that, Alex went back to the present. He was running fast to his house in order to see his mom again and so that he could hug her again. However, she wasn't there. Shocked, he asked the neighbors about her. They said to him that she was dead 10 years ago in a fire. Alex was confused when he heard such news. Yet, he didn't give up, he decided to travel to the past again and save his mother. But, the more he saved her, another event killed her each time. In other words, he changed her death's manner but never changed the fatal fact of ther death. He understood that the destiny is unavoidable.
Finally, he burried the liar machine far away. "Because it belongs to trash, it only gives fake hopes": he said.
