AILY ENCOUNTER WITH GOD!
I am set to go to Hongkong with my family this weekend and it would be a 3 days vacation only. I would be only one day absent in the office since our flight is on Friday and the succeeding 2 days would be Saturday and Sunday. My plan is just to tell my boss that I have an emergeny (we are allowed 5 days EL per year) in the house so there would be no salary deduction thinking also that I seldom do this.
When I'm already in the process of giving instructions to our maid on what to say if in case my boss look for me, my daughters heard about it and reminded me of my teachings of not telling lies no matter how big or the so called white lies. I was really so ashamed in front of them then i remembered that for 2 days already, I have'nt read my book of daily bread due to my busy schedules maybe. Next thing I did is I send an email to my boss requesting for one day leave and there it goes, though vacation is not allowed during January, he considered granting my request. Praise God, he is really good and controls everything here on earth.
Lesson is, have a daily encounter with God by reading his gospels and keep on praying everyday.
GOD DOES NOT EXPECT YOU TO BE PERFECT BUT HE DOES INSIST ON COMPLETE HONESTY.
