Wandering around Palm Springs in November 2006 and who do I come across but Mayor Sonny! :-)

"Sculpted in bronze, the grinning statue sits on the edge of a fountain and depicts the older, mayor-of-Palm-Springs Sonny, not the younger, 'I Got You Babe' Sonny. Highly burnished legs hint that Sonny is still loved. Emmanuil Snitkovsky sculpted the work, dedicated in 2001."
