A few statues and bells

Good morning. Have a great day

Today I will share a few photos of some statues and such I have seen on various walks in the area

Starting with some of the detail on the Barnard Memorial in Bottonwood Park New Bedford.

It was dedicated on September 19, 1914, the monument was designed by Hungarian-born artist George Julian Zolnay and given to the city by George D. Barnard, a St. Louis businessman and native of New Bedford

Sculpted from Quincy granite and bronze, it features a granite group representing old whaling days which this photo shows alongside a bronze figure of a young mechanic symbolizing manufacturing
