It was a normal day, just like any other day. Until I really needed a restroom.
I looked nearby and finally found one and quickly rushed inside like my life depended on it.
No time to think. Just survival.
After I came out, feeling peaceful again, a man stopped me.
“Fee.”
I looked at him. “Fee? For what?”
“For using the restroom.”
I blinked. “Wait… you’re serious?”
“Yes.”
I stared at him for a second.
“You’re telling me… I just paid for using the restroom."
He didn’t even react. “You used the facility.”
I sighed and took out the money.
“This is unbelievable.”
As I handed it to him, I muttered,
“Next time, I’m asking for the price before I go in.”
And while walking away, I kept thinking...
“Fee… for doing what?"
