A week ago I started playing a game of D&D. The time really flew by!
My youngest has come down with something viral, so he's home sick.
My eldest boy is home for a couple of days on leave and staying away from sick people, and possible carriers. Which means he most likely won't be coming here at all until everyone is well again, and I don't blame him.
Wife and daughters are working.
I did something to my back and it's not getting better, so I've been in bed most of the time. I got bored with my usual routine and found that game on the Xbox One, but it may have been a mistake. Only time will tell. I've been averaging about four to six hours of sleep per night.
On a positive note, I found a really nice guy to hang out with in the game and his brother joined us last night. Both are warriors and I'm the field medic/cleric. SO MUCH FUN! OMG! We had so much fun the last two days, it reminded me of my childhood. I haven't had so much fun with anyone outside the family in almost twenty years. It really helps me keep my mind off of my pain. Unfortunately the side effects are kind of apparent in my family's behavior. My wife has become slightly more hostile towards me and she won't discuss what's on her mind, but I think it's worry. Money would certainly help out our current situation (and I'm not talking about a paltry sum either. If it were a small amount we wouldn't be so worried about things. It's causing problems, a story not so atypical to many families.) and give her a much needed break, but I seem to be unable to help. It's a tad frustrating all around, but we persevere.
This is me after four hours of sleep.
Much love and light to you and yours, I hope you are all well.
