Today's prompt: Nail Biting

Day 63: Lisa and I began our journey southward from the excavation site in search of whatever fell from the sky. We were packed up and looking like what the Inuit of old must have looked like, all wrapped up in parkas with big packs full of food and supplies. If I haven't mentioned it before, it's cold here.

Day 64: Our second day in and we're in our makeshift campsight; a small tent with a strong heater. I don't know how people could have survived like this a hundred years ago without modern technology.

Day 65: We spent the day searching what we thought was the right area, but we haven't found much of anything but more snow and permafrost. I'm enjoying spending time with Lisa in a small tent! I hope she hasn't seem me .. eh.. get excited. I'd do something about that, but it's so cold!

Day 66: We think we found it! Just as we were about to pitch camp for the night we noticed that the ground was not as snow and ice covered, so we went a little further in that direction. It looks like something was warmed here. It's rather exciting! Just like Lisa. But in a different, nail-biting-excitement sort of way.
