অনন্ত অসীম হে অন্তর্যামী! হে নিখিল অধিপতি! নির্মল করো চিত্তকানন প্রেমে পুণ্যে অতি।হে দ্যুলোক ভূলোক সন্তরীক্ষের স্রষ্টা মহীয়ান!দিব্যজ্ঞানে পুণ্য ধ্যানে জাগ্রত হোক প্রাণ।

তোমার আদেশ মানিনি প্রভু, করিনি পালন
হে দয়াময়! দিয়েছ আহার তবু, করেছ লালন। ভ্রান্তি ভ্রমে পথ ভুলেছি ষড়রিপুর ধোঁকায় তবুও জীবন নেইকো থেমে তোমার অশেষ কৃপায়।

জীবন চলার নিত্য পথে তোমার ডাকে দিইনি সাড়া স্মরেছি কেবল দুর্বিপাকে, ছুঁয়েছে যবে দুঃখ জরা।বিপদ ভয়েই ডেকেছি তোমায়, পরক্ষণে গেছি ভুলে শতবারে তবু ক্ষমিয়াছ প্রভু, রেখেছো ধরাতলে।

তোমার বাণীকে বুঝিনি প্রভু আমার স্বল্প জ্ঞানে সত্যকে তাই ফেলে গেছি মিথ্যা মায়ার টানে। জীবনপথের কর্মসূচি ভাবছি যখন আজ ব্যাকুল হলো চিত্ত প্রভু, করিনি পুণ্যকাজ।

প্রার্থনায় আজ তুলছি দু'হাত সায়াহ্নের এই কালে পারের কড়ি নাইবা থাকুক ভিড়াও তরি কূলে। ক্ষণিকরের এই ধরায় যদিও গড়ছি পাপের পাহাড় ক্ষমা করো হে বিরাট মহান! সৃষ্টিকুলে তোমার।

O Infinite, O Boundless, O Knower of hearts! O Lord of the universe! Purify the garden of my mind with abundance of love and virtue. O Glorious Creator of the heavens, the earth, and the cosmos! Let my soul awaken through divine knowledge and holy meditation.

I have not obeyed Your commands, O Lord, nor have I followed them, Yet, O Merciful One! You have granted me food and nurtured me. Lost in illusions and errors, I wandered away blinded by the six sins, Even so, my life has not ceased, sustained by Your endless grace.

On the daily path of life, I did not respond to Your call, I remembered You only in times of distress, when sorrow and decay touched me. Out of fear of danger I called upon You, but forgot You the very next moment, Yet a hundred times You have forgiven me, O Lord, and kept me on this earth.

With my shallow wisdom, O Lord, I failed to understand Your message, And so, I walked away from the truth, drawn by the illusion of falsehood. Today, as I reflect upon the journey and actions of my life, My heart grows anxious, O Lord, for I have done no virtuous deed.

In prayer today, I raise both my hands at this twilight hour of life, Even if I have no fare for the crossing, please guide my boat to the shore. Though on this fleeting earth I have built mountains of sins, Forgive me, O Great and Almighty! Among all Your creations.
