🥇 Visit Portugal - Crystal Palace Gardens by
Right at the entrance we got this view over the garden's main fountain, framed by tall cypress trees, with the Arrábida Bridge peeking through the gap in the distance. The gardens were laid out in the late 19th century by the French-trained landscape architect Émile David, and this formal section, with its clipped hedges and radial flowerbeds, is the part that still feels most like a 19th-century estate.

🥉 Cacique Nigale Park and its. | El parque Cacique Nigale y su importancia histórica. by
Delving a little deeper into history, this square was previously named after Amerigo Vespucci, but it is worth noting that although this European man drew inspiration from ‘Little Venice’ for the name ‘Venezuela’, he was not a native of this place, as he was a conquistador; Instead, it was decided to rename this square because the indigenous chieftain Nigale was indeed from our country and, moreover, a native of Zulia. The square is quite picturesque, a riot of colour; despite the high temperatures, a breeze always blows, creating a magical contrast with the sound of the water, as the park is surrounded by it.
